Steve touched so many lives.
We look forward to seeing those people there to honor his life.

Steve was never one to indulge in anger, sadness, or the mundane
(except golf, but thats a whole other story) - so we decided that his
memorial service shouldn't have any of these attributes either!

We plan to honor Steve's memory and life by enjoying the day as he would
have wanted us to: sharing stories and laughter with friends and family, enjoying
the outdoors, and planting his long-awaited Liberty Apple Tree - where we will put
him to rest in the outdoors he so loved.

We ask that, as we are celebrating Steve's life - not mourning his passing - that everyone wear anything but Black. Steve was always one for colors anyway.

If you have anything besides stories - that we can't wait to hear! - like pictures or other momentos, please feel free to bring them and share with everyone else. We will have a table set up just for these lovely items.

This past Autumn, Steve had learned that the Liberty Apple Tree produces the most nutritous apple there is! Being the health nut he was (allowing the occassional Snicker's bar), he and Darlece promptly ordered one to plant on their property. Unfortunately, he never got to see that planting come to fruition.

Fortunately, it gives us a beautiful way to put him to rest in May. We will be spreading a portion of his ashes at it's base as we plant it for it's long life on the Island Steve loved so much.

There will be limited parking on the property, however the street prior to the property (280th) has plenty of room for cars to park on either side. We do recommend that people park here instead of trying to squeeze their cars onto 142nd Ave.

Bring Memories to Share!

We will supply some of the food and drink, but we ask that locals bring an appetizer to share, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
